Yoga is a way of life, which empowers an individual which helps in building the personality of the person, and help him not only physically, but also mentally and spiritually. Yoga helps effectively deal with career stress, relationship problems and is an effective lifestyle management solution.

The Yoga Institute Santacruz is the world's oldest organized yoga centre had been founded by Shri Yogendraji on 25th December 1918. In its long ninety one year history pioneering educational, therapeutic and research work has been conducted.

Shri Yogendra has rightly been called the Father of Modern Yoga Renaissance.

The Yoga Institute has been conducting specialized camps in the following areas like management of hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, management of orthopedic conditions, management of Respiratory conditions like asthma and sinusitis and management of Stress and women’s problems.

The Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy, have requested us to host a mass awareness program for Yoga as part of the National Campaign on Yoga and Naturopathy for Holistic Health on the 4th and 5th of September 2010. The program will include how Yoga can be beneficial to the common man at different levels and will focus on the great contribution of Yoga to the nation and the world.
