6. Re-orientation Training Programme in Yoga for Doctors of AYUSH and Allopathy

Immediate Registration:
6 days of full day 'Yoga Re-orientation Training Programme' is being organised with the help of Dept. of AYUSH, Dept. of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi, 110026 in The Yoga Institute at Santacruz, Mumbai for Doctors of Allopathy, Ayurved, Unani, Homoeopathy in two batches as per the following schedule:

• 1st Batch: 30-04-2011 to 06-05-2011 (New Batch of 30 Doctors for 6 day in Yoga)

Traveling, Boarding and Lodging of the Trainees for the Training Programme will be borne by the Institute from the funds provided by Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of India. (i.e. actual railway fares to and from, up to a maximum of Rs. 1500/- on the production of original tickets.)

The NCERT - National Council of Educational Research and Training has directed The Yoga Institute, Santacruz & Mumbai India to conduct a one month programme for school teachers & teachers of Junior College.

The Yoga Institute has prepared a manual, a kit of audiovisual presentations and games for this purpose. The manual for teachers training has been prepared together with the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, New Delhi.

This is a very good opportunity for the teachers to learn Yoga for themselves and then teach the same to their students. Yoga is the culture of consciousness and its uniqueness lies in it incorporating a philosophy, psychology and having also a technology to go with it.

1. No Car Day

20th February 2011 from 7.00a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and 4.30p.m. to 7.30p.m. will be the 'NO CAR DAY' at Carter Road Bandra. This is an effort to protect the environment.

The Yoga Institute Santa Cruz has organized several programmes on this day. There are special skits, talks, practices for all. There is a special Kids Corner for Yoga awareness Come and partake in the fun and fellowship.
